Shipping & Framing
Due to their size and the bulk of packaging that is required for safe transport, Giclée Canvas Prints are not mounted on stretchers before they are shipped. Depending on size prints are shipped rolled in a 24″ x 4″ x 4″ box or a 12″ x 4″ x 4″ box. Rolling the canvas and packing in a box is the safest and least expensive method for shipping, and the savings realized in shipping are far greater than the stretching cost on arrival.
Duties & Import Taxes
Please note: You must comply with the laws and regulations of the destination country your order is shipped to. Orders shipped outside Canada may be subject to additional taxes, duties and/or fees (including customs clearance) charged by the destination country, and the recipient will be responsible for those charges. We are unable to calculate and disclose the additional costs that may be imposed and we advise you to contact the destination country’s customs office for more information. Should customs clearance be required, it may cause delays beyond the original estimated delivery date given to you.
Like the original canvas your canvas print they must be mounted on stretchers on arrival. Any framer can complete this relatively inexpensive process. To facilitate this, a 1 1/2″ margin on all four sides is allowed for stretching. Once stretched, the print is framed in the usual manner.
Giclée Canvas Prints are produced one at a time and usually not until they are ordered. For deliveries throughout North America, delivery is usually less than two weeks.
