This is the first in a series of paintings that features the Charles H. Cates III running light into the Pacific Coast Terminal in Port Moody, BC. The Cates series tug boats are truly the “Hot Rods” of the BC coastal waters. They are both incredibly maneuverable and powerful. They are engineered to push from the bow and stern and laterally when required. They are the masters of fast maneuvering and rapid response.
