A fly fisherman casting in the calm ocean waters off Old Orchard Park in Port Moody. This view takes in the hills that lead up to Burnaby Mountain to the south and the mountains on the north shore of Burrard Inlet. The painting was started on a very bright Saturday morning. Large cumulus clouds had formed in the clear blue sky and they were a perfect complement to the rolling hills and mountains in the background and the gravel bars in the foreground.
